From the Bottom of the Stairs to the Top of the World

Alright then. I've got to say it: One Direction. Whatever your opinions on the boy band may be, just a few hours ago they performed at Madison Square Garden, NYC. And whatever your opinions an the boy band may be, they changed my life, and they changed it for the better. Madison Square Fucking Gardens. They've achieved everything I've ever dreamed of achieving, starting out as nothing more than what I am today. Aspiring artists who each took a risk to become bigger then they could ever dream. They had nothing to loose, and everything to gain from chasing their dreams. The least we can do as fans is the same. "Dreams are like stars; you may never touch them, but if you follow them, they will lead you to your destiny." -Liam Payne. Geoff Payne used to drive his 15 year old son to gigs for audiences of 10. Today Geoff Payne watched as his 19 year old son performed for the sold out arena. He reached the stars, and all I could want is the chance to try. Niall Horan was asked 2 years ago what his dream was. He replied "To perform at Madison Square Garden." Yesterday he got to tweet @NiallOfficial:" Lying in my bed , cannot sleep ! Madison square garden is like 15 hours away! A performers dream coming to life #1DinMSG" They are living the dream. And they have an amazing support system and fan base. Their amazing families made them who they are.  And maybe one day they'll hear about how their dream inspired me. They'll hear my story and the role they played in it. But for now, even though I know they'll never see this, thank you. Thank you Harry, Niall, Louis, Liam, and Zayn. Thank you for daring to dream. Thank you for inspiring me. I've never been more proud of complete strangers.  We are directioners, and we may follow a different compass, but we will follow you boys to the ends of the earth. From the bottom of our hearts, Thank you. We are proud of you. We really do love you boys. So congratulations. You've earned it. You did it.
